av candy ltd was conceived in response to the growing requirements for domestic home cinema and multi-room audio visual systems. We found that real expertise in these areas was limited, with larger stores only offering basic installation - usually just hanging a plasma screen on a wall and plugging it in. More specialist stores tend to offer a better quality of service and expertise, delivering good visual packages, but we never felt that they understood the basic principles of acoustics; the area where most home cinemas fail to deliver with poor loudspeaker integration within the customers environment. This inevitably leads to poor sound source location, poor focus and clarity with limited dynamics. All the systems we design are specific to your available space and sized accordingly, your system will meet all of the “standardised” audio certifications where possible.

Graduating in Electro Acoustics from Salford University and having been in the audio/noise industry for most of my working life, I felt it was time to make a difference.

I spent several years generating the infrastructure to deliver the finest home cinema and multi-room audio visual systems - from broadcast quality cable supplies to carpenters. Our aim is to integrate the systems into your home as you want, from stealth to in-your-face club style systems.
